Jose Gaspar Cache Sites

Jose Gaspar, the pirate who sailed under the black flag in the 1800's, allegedly buried treasure up and down the west coast of Florida.

The 21st century Jose Gaspar doesn't plunder ships, but like his predecessor, does hide treasure in the Tampa Bay area.

Below are listed the treasure caches that the Jose Gaspar Crew has hidden. If the status is listed as "Active", then you can try to find it for yourself. Click on the link for the appropriate Geocaching.com version for the most current clues. (Always use the Geocaching.com link if you are going to hunt for a cache. Jose always updates the Geocaching.com sites first).

Note that, unlike many geocachers, the Jose Gaspar Crew does not leave caches out forever. Most are available for only 2 or 3 months then are removed and archived so that new caches can be hidden in different locations. Get a cache while you can!!
